How my mind works

Ever since I published my first novel I’ve been asked the question, “How do you come up with these stories?” and to be honest it’s hard to answer that. I don’t sit down and say, “ok this will happen then this and this.” No, in fact, every time I sit down to start a book I have no clue what It’ll be about or how it’ll end. I just sit there and allow my mind to expand and go a little crazy on its own. I figure if I don’t even know how a story will end, then my readers will not be able to predict my endings.
